St. Patricks Day events in town this weekend

Ah-toy ah-toy ah-toy - it's pretend your Irish day again this coming weekend, and as the luck of the Irish would have it (pun intended) St. Patricks day is this Friday, 17th March. Now if anyone says St. Patties day, they need a slap (aka everyone from USA or Canada). St Patricks Day, or St Paddies day. No Patties - got it?!

There are, obviously, a number of parties happening all over the city where you can go and search for a pot of gold cunningly disguised as green beer (probably no one doing that) or a Guinness (everyone doing that). A&E must be excited about all the Guinness thats going to be drunk in Oman this weekend!

So, here are a selection of the parties for you to consider going to....

1. InterContinental, Muscat

2. Grand Hyatt, Muscat

There are two St Patricks Day festive options available at the Hyatt this year - Brunch and then Safari in the evening. Brunch is RO 35 with free flow until 4pm. In the evening Safari Bar are offering special prices on Guinness and Irish whiskey along with a RO 10 cover charge which includes a cocktail too. 3. Feeney's

There are a few things on in one of Muscats two Irish bars, but the biggest thing to take from it is that its Happy Hour all day at Feenies this Friday.

4. The Bank

The Bank have a Irish themed brunch this Friday, 2 - 6PM enjoy Irish Foods & Drink with hit songs from Ireland's best bands. RO 25 all inclusive.

5. The Radisson Blu

O'Malley's pub are celebrating with 25% off their normal prices between 6-9pm along with live Irish music. RO 5 cover charge for men, prize for best dressed, DJ from 9pm.

The Clann na hOman GAA and Muscat Magpies are teaming up with the Lazy Lizard to offer a brunch for RO 25 all in for club members and those that purchase their tickets from Clann na hOman beforehand.
