Apparently the third Thursday of November in France every year announces the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau. I don't actually know what that means, but I'm assuming Vino Splongo is also about as descriptive a phrase as it needs to be for this one. Oh I should mention that the wine is red... but those of you who would be interested in this one would have already of known that, right?
I'm told that this event used to be a big thing in the UK's popular wine bars in the 70's and 80's, I guess its time for a revival?
This will be a special lunch, with what I am assuming is new French red wine on offer by the glass for RO 2 or the bottle for RO 9. Gambling that Thursday the 17th November will actually be a holiday, assuming that Friday 18th November (Oman's National Day) will make it a holiday, this will be a fun way to kick the weekend off with a nice lunch at The
Demand for this lunch is high, so if you're interested in booking a table, call them up on +968 2469 3699 or email them on reservations@thebank.co. And of course don't forget to check out The Bank's Instagram page too.
Now you know!
