Tonight, and every night this week (until Saturday the 8th) there is an on-going competition which is being played by 4 teams in a round robin with finals at the end of the week. The Oman Timberwolves (formerly the Wadi Dogs) have joined forces with the Oman National team to create 4 mixed teams for a week of hockey fun.
Every night between 8 & 10pm at the Fun Zone in Qurum, there will be 2 games until the finals on the weekend, with just one game per night. If you'd like to see the full schedule of the games, you can click here to see it.
This is a great initiative and will help to showcase the sport to anyone who might be interested (its much more interesting than boring field hockey). The Timberwolves have a website here, and a facebook page here should you like more information about them.
